How
sweet, how cheering, are the words of Christ Jesus, "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them"! Why do we not accept him at his word and turn unreservedly for our instruction to the gentle teacher of God's love for man?
If
one stops in the midst of human activities honestly to consider why he does not accomplish more of the good he hopes for, he is apt to find the excuse coming to his lips, "I haven't the time.
After
Christ Jesus had given to his followers the promise, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also," he further stated that the Father would send "another Comforter.
Far
on the other side of arid wasteWhich stood betwixt my brother-man and me,I saw him stand and, bowed in deep distress,Reach out his hands and call imploringly.

The articles which have appeared in the Star and other papers, in which a well-known Kansas City woman who was a member of the Christian Science church has been mentioned in connection with a notorious cult in California, may give the impression that the book she financed, entitled "The Sixth Seal," written by the head of that cult, has some connection with the teachings of Christian Science.

many in the world to-day are living in bondage to the belief that their case is hopeless—that the sin which has beset them, perhaps for years, will never be overcome; that the sickness which has sapped their energies, maybe over a prolonged period, will never be healed; that the evil influence exercised over their lives by the misdeeds of others will never be lifted! Through Christian Science I have been healed of stomach trouble, blood poisoning, poisoning, erysipelas, inflammatory rheumatism, influenza instantaneously, cancer, and many minor ailments.
