Love Outlines

"Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way."—Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, page 454.

"An highway shall be there ... The way of holiness;"
There "the redeemed shall walk." There does Love wait to bless.

When human wisdom tries to tell which way to go,
I turn my thoughts to God and wait for His command;
And then, as arguments of sense are stilled, I know
That Principle is guiding me. I place my hand
In His! My footsteps may be fast, they may be slow;
But, as I walk with Truth, the fears of mortal sense
Give place to peace and trust; the path begins to grow
More bright, and I can see with joy and confidence
The way illumed, clearer than sunshine after rain.
I need not try to plan: Love makes my way so plain.
