I am very grateful for Christian Science and for an understanding of what gratitude means, I had no idea it was such a joyful thing to experience gratitude. I have been healed of many physical ills by Christian Science, of colds, severe neuralgic headaches, sprains, rheumatic pains, and neuritis; but another experience showing the ever-availability of divine Mind seems to me the most wonderful of all.

I was suddenly asked on the telephone if I would go and play a part that I had not played for over eleven years; and this, without a rehearsal, as the journey to the theater would take all the available time. This at first seemed impossible, but as a Christian Scientist I remembered that Mind governs all. The whole performance was a great success. So much powerful inspiration flowed to us that the whole company experienced healing on more than one point.

On other occasions I have experienced great protection while engaged in church work. Where no trains were to be had from provincial towns, motor cars were offered; and every time the journey was made safely in spite of severe handicaps of lack of time, dense fog, and so on.
