It would be difficult for me to define in words my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. It was in March, 1909, that I took my first treatment in Christian Science, being then in the depths of despair from suffering day after day with my spine, together with very weak ankles. When I left the home of the practitioner who so lovingly described to me the relationship of God to man, through Christian Science, I was free from pain and other discordant conditions. Also, I felt as if I were walking on air. I was so deeply impressed over the healing that I lost no time in taking up the study of this great and wonderful truth of the power of God to heal all discord. I was also healed of nervous convulsions. Three years later, I was healed in a comparatively short time of what was supposed to be a very bad case of shingles.

Again, in 1923, I was completely healed through Christian Science of a complication of diseases followed by obstructed bowels. This was my most severe test; but I stood firmly for Truth, and the healing power of the Word of God was again proved. Since this healing I have enjoyed better health than at any other time in my life. To-day all I am, all I have, I owe to Christian Science for giving me this great understanding of God and man. I am therefore most grateful to God and to Christ Jesus for these great blessings, and to Mrs. Eddy for bringing the truth to this age. I am also grateful for all the Christian Science periodicals, and to the Christian Science practitioners who have helped me to stand firmly for God.—J. Somers Leary, Baltimore, Maryland.

I first heard of Christian Science through a relative many years ago, but as I was satisfied with my own religion it did not appeal to me at all. There, however, came a time when I did not know what it was to have a well day. I had suffered for many years with inward trouble, and seemed to be growing worse all the time. This was entirely overcome in a comparatively short time through the application of Christian Science, and I was so greatly impressed that I was thoroughly convinced that Truth does heal. Many other complaints, among them a running ear of three years' standing, rheumatism, sprained ankles, influenza, were all healed through Christian Science.
