It is with a feeling of deep joy and gratitude that I write of what Christian Science has done for me. Nearly eight years ago I accepted the teachings of this beautiful religion, and I shall never be able to tell of all the blessings I have received from it.

Christian Science came to me at a time of great mental stress, and comforted me. For three years I had not slept, except under the influence of a narcotic. I was instantaneously healed of this insomnia. The reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and of pamphlets on Christian Science, as well as the encouragement of a practitioner, were a revelation to me; and I shall never forget the relief which I experienced.

My progress in Science has not always been rapid, and often it has been necessary to wrestle with error; but I have never given up; for even in moments of doubt I have known that the saving truth is always present. The following is a proof of it.
