[Original testimony in German]
I should like to express my gratitude for the blessings...
I should like to express my gratitude for the blessings and experiences which have come to me in Christian Science.
I had suffered for some time from pains in the abdomen. I had been examined and treated by several physicians, and had applied various remedies, and for a short time the pains were somewhat relieved; but a complete healing seemed out of the question. I was told that later on I should have to undergo an operation.
Then I heard of Christian Science through kind friends, and attended a Wednesday evening testimony meeting. It was my desire to hear more of the truth and to be healed by it. I called upon a practitioner, and she lovingly worked for me. After one treatment I was perfectly healed. But I was privileged to experience a great deal more: I learned to understand God's great love and omnipotence and the truth about Christ Jesus, His Son. Much discord has been overcome, and I am now a joyous and happy individual. I have learned to see that the more understanding we gain of the truth, the easier it is to overcome error.
