Christian Science came into my life after all material means had failed. After my first treatment I felt it was God's revelation to men. Over twenty years ago I was thrown from a street car, breaking my ankle. The conductor took my name and address, saying he would send the company's doctor out to set the bone. This happened between five and six o'clock in the evening, and the doctor did not call until about three o'clock the following afternoon. After examining the foot, he said that it was a bad break, that the bone had set itself, and that it would be at least three or four months before I could walk. Christian Science treatment had been applied as soon as I could get to the telephone after the accident. Under this treatment I was able to attend a Christian Science service ten days after the accident. The healing has been permanent and complete, and I can tell which ankle was broken only when I stop to think. There is nothing impossible with God.

I have also been healed of a deep sorrow, and through this experience I have learned more of God as Life. When I have needed God most, it is then I have felt most His love, His protection, His nearness. I am grateful for these healings, but more so for the knowledge Christian Science has given me of God. I have found Him a very present help at all times, a true friend, counselor, guide, my All-in-all.

I wish in conclusion to express my gratitude for class instruction, for the privilege of teaching in a Christian Science Sunday School, and for membership in a branch church and in The Mother Church.
