It is indeed with deep gratitude I acknowledge the benefits that my family and I have derived from Christian Science.
For a number of years I was afflicted with numerous complaints which caused me great distress of both body and mind, and which no earthly physician seemed to be able to diagnose, all their treatments bringing no relief. Becoming almost unable to walk, and feeling very miserable, I at last determined to turn to Christian Science, believing that by seeking God, the supreme Physician, through this agency His ministration could and would cure me. In a short time I found myself much relieved, and to-day I can walk in comparative comfort, and am able to radiate to those around me the happiness I had not known for years. I wish to state also that other members of my family, especially my grandchildren, have benefited by my adoption of Christian Science. Let me say that Christian Science has given me an understanding of divine Love; it has also destroyed numerous faults of character which were unloving.
For these things I am deeply grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. I am also grateful to the dear practitioner for her many kindnesses to me and mine.
