In 1908 I was told by an eye specialist that I would lose my eyesight. I was suffering a great deal at the time, but through the study and application of Christian Science I now have normal eyesight and do not have to use glasses. I have also been healed of goiter, a weak back, and many other discordant conditions.
Christian Science has been a great help to me, a mother of three children, in overcoming fear and establishing a kinder and brighter outlook on life. The constant realization that God, good, is the only power and reality has put us on a sound foundation, and we have been able to overcome in our home such conditions as whooping cough, measles, scarlet fever, and influenza, very quickly and very effectively. There were no after effects at any time. My youngest daughter, at thirteen years of age, had paralysis, which made her unable to use her leg, but the trouble was overcome in a week's time.
Christian Science has met all our needs for eighteen years, but I am most grateful for the spiritual uplift that has come to me. It is enabling me to reflect love and harmony toward all nations and people, and to look for the good and the true in them. The Bible has become a new book to me, and a great inspiration.
