Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication for the Year Ended September 30, 1927

New Jersey.

To the end that Christian Scientists may know something of the activities of this department of the Christian Science movement, I hereby submit that this committee has written fifty-four replies to attacks made on Mrs. Eddy, Christian Science, and Christian Scientists, within the year just closed. All but seven of these replies were printed in the publications where the criticisms appeared. Nine thousand four hundred and ninety-eight clippings from newspapers containing the above-mentioned letters of correction have been distributed, this distribution being in addition to the regular circulation of the respective periodicals.

The following four societies, Woodcliff-on-Hudson, Westwood, Grantwood, and Newark, have been recognized by The Christian Science Board of Directors as branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
