It is now about ten years since I first became interested in Christian Science. Previous to that time I had been searching for something that might give me happiness and mental peace, for life did not seem to hold very much in the way of real joy or satisfaction. While I appeared strong and well, I was suffering from a nervous malady which had been with me from childhood. This did not improve as time went on, but rather grew worse; and finally I developed a very annoying case of nervous indigestion. I was thoroughly miserable, for a great sense of depression and despondency accompanied this whole condition, and at times it seemed almost impossible to go on.

From the beginning of my attendance at the Christian Science church services a new hope possessed me, and I felt that if Christian Science could free others as they claimed, it certainly could help me. I was so eager to grasp something of this great truth that for some time I read almost night and day. My physical healings were not instantaneous, but as I continued in the study of Christian Science one false belief after another which had held me in bondage dropped away, until now I can say that I feel like a new person. This healing has meant everything to me. With a slight understanding of the wholeness of God and His creation has come an entire change of outlook on life, and it seems as though I were living in a different world.

Through the understanding of the truth as taught in Christian Science I have had many healings, both physical and mental, and untold blessings have come to my home. Christian Science has also been a great help to me in my contact with the business world. There is nothing that can compare with the assurance that no matter what or where the disturbing problem may be, the remedy is at hand, and we need only to reverse our thinking to have harmony revealed.
