Having received much help and comfort from the many...
Having received much help and comfort from the many beautiful testimonies that have come to me through The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel, I wish to send a few words of gratitude for the healings I have received through the study of the Bible, together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and Mrs. Eddy's other writings.
I am being healed of many faults of character, pride, fear, selfishness, resentment, criticism, and many false beliefs, among them theosophy. While having treatment from one of the many loving practitioners who are always ready to help, I was able to give up wearing glasses, and was healed of constipation and catarrh from which I had suffered for many years. I have been able to overcome, by my own knowledge of the truth, colds, headaches, and pains of many kinds. Loneliness disappears when I realize that wherever I am, there divine Love is, with the great family made in His image and likeness. Insomnia has gone, and I have peaceful nights, although those around me complain of much disturbance.
Two passages from Mrs. Eddy's books have helped me particularly: "Man, who is but the humble servant of the restful Mind" (Science and Health, p. 119), and, "Man's harmony is no more to be invaded than the rhythm of the universe" (Retrospection and Introspection, p. 61).
