I first took up the study of Christian Science nine years...
I first took up the study of Christian Science nine years ago for relief from physical suffering, and have been healed not only physically, but mentally and morally. Space would not permit me to tell of all the blessings that have come into my experience through the study and application of Christian Science.
In the winter of 1924 I was taken suddenly with a very severe case of erysipelas, covering the entire surface of my body to the waist. There were no other Christian Scientists in the community at that time. I asked a practitioner in another town for help, which was lovingly given. She called at my home only once, and the following treatments were given absently. The condition grew worse for a time, but at the end of six weeks I was absolutely healed and took a walk for more than a mile with no ill results. This healing was permanent.
All that I am, and the good I am experiencing to-day, I owe to Christian Science. My heart is filled with gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to Mary Baker Eddy for this beautiful truth. I also wish to express sincere gratitude for membership in The Mother Church.—(Mrs.) Margaret Elizabeth Combest, Polson, Montana.
