Teach me to give, O Love divine,
What Thou hast given to me;
Let me reflect to all mankind
Thy gift of liberty.

Teach me to love, O Love divine,
That I Thy lambs may feed;
For only Love, the Mother-Love,
Can know and meet their need.

Teach me to trust, O Love divine,
The confidence impart
Which speaks Thy presence, joy, and peace
And satisfies the heart.
