I trust you will allow me space to comment briefly on an editorial reference to Christian Science in your recent issue. In speaking of those who leave Judaism, some are said to "enter Christianity by the front door of conversion" and others through "the back door of Christian Science." Just what was in the writer's thought in making this unhappy distinction is not clear, but I am happy to state that those highly respected members of the Christian Science denomination who were raised in Judaism have not renounced the God of their fathers in becoming Christian Scientists. They have learned through this teaching that the true Jew and the true Christian may unite in worshiping the one God. They are learning the truth of Christ Jesus' words: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled;" and they are learning, furthermore, how to fulfill the law in righteous living.
