Letters from the Field

"It has recently been my experience to spend some little time in the Christian Science sanatorium as a guest; and my appreciation of the hospitality and kindness received from all with whom I came into contact there is so keen that I desire to make expression of it.

"I cannot speak too highly of the love and generous treatment given me from the moment when I was received, on short notice under seeming emergency, until the time of departure, when I was free and ready to resume daily work. This result was undoubtedly speeded by the faithful work of a practitioner; but there is also no doubt but that the demonstration was all the more quickly made because of the devoted and willing service given me at all times, especially by the nurses. Their cheerful and helpful efforts did more than render aid at the moment; they inspired me to take up my own work with a greater desire also to serve in the same loving, joyous manner. Indeed, every moment of my stay in so beneficent and consecrated an atmosphere had its lesson; and I can only repeat that I am very appreciative of the faithful and gracious care.

"(Miss)Maude Seyfert, Boston, Massachusetts."
