The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Warrensburg, Missouri (First Church).

Lecturer: John J. Flinn; introduced by Mrs. Muriel Cassingham, who said:—

Years ago men who were just and good heard the voice of God speaking to their consciousness as clearly as you hear my voice now. For God, who is good, and whose works are good, does speak to men—does speak to you and to me through channels that we may understand and perceive. When Samuel heard God's voice he answered, "Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth." Personally, I can testify to the healing, the protection, and the inspiration that an understanding of the ever-presence of God, who is Truth and good. has brought to me and to my family for more than ten years. Christian Science has been our only religion and our only physician during that time.
