Expressing gratitude, by oral or written testimony, for benefits we have received from Christian Science makes us even more grateful that we know of this healing truth and how to use it. Such expression requires us to remember blessings which many times we have taken for granted and have not counted as blessings received only through Christian Science.

I have never had any serious illness, but I have had many minor illnesses and physical disturbances, and whenever Christian Science has been applied the healing has come quickly. As a child I suffered from tonsillitis about twice a year, being ill for several days. When fourteen years old I received Christian Science treatment for such an attack. I was quickly healed, and I have never had a return of this trouble.

I have always felt very grateful for the Christian Science Sunday School, for it was there I first learned many things that have helped me and have formed a basis for later study. One teacher very frequently remarked that familiarity with our textbooks would be the means of bringing us much needed help. I have proved this again and again, finding that whatever my need might be,—strength, health, supply, happiness, or poise,—help has come again and again in the form of some statement from the books especially applicable to the occasion.
