It is with great thankfulness and deep gratitude for some understanding of God, as taught in Christian Science, that I send this testimony. When Christian Science came to me the doctors had given me three months to live; that was eighteen years ago. The physicians said many organs and surrounding linings were affected with cancer and I could not possibly live over three months. But by studying Christian Science and having six treatments I was healed, although it took almost four years of hard study and application of Christian Science before all fear of the disease left me.

When I was a young girl my family thought I had consumption; then heart trouble started. One brother had cancer and an aunt paralysis—all of which I proceeded to express. Consumption and colds finally disappeared just by studying Mrs. Eddy's works, together with the Bible and the Christian Science periodicals. The heart trouble disappeared soon after taking up Christian Science, and I had forgotten I ever had it until one spring I began having a constant headache. Then I noticed on climbing a stairway that I was almost breathless when I reached the top; but it passed off act once, and I did not think much about it till I went to a store about three blocks away and felt so weak and breathless that I did not know for a while whether or not I would have to call for help; but I finally got home.
