As a sign of my gratitude for blessings received, I testify to the healing power of Truth, which is expressed through Christian Science. One day my mother was taken very ill. As an adherent of Christian Science I immediately began to apply my slight understanding of this teaching. I rejected all thoughts of fear, and had firm confidence in Truth. In a few hours the fever had left my mother completely. The disease, however, was not yet overcome; but in spite of the evidence of the senses we clung firmly to the truth, and realized that nothing could keep us from doing our duty. In a very short time my mother was well.

About three weeks later she had a relapse. I explained to her that there are no relapses in Truth, and we denied all erroneous symptoms as well as we could. But because she continued to grow weaker I asked for Christian Science treatment. I had to struggle with the fear that I should lose my mother. But quite suddenly it seemed as if a voice within me said: "Be not afraid of sudden fear. .... For the Lord shall be thy confidence." This ray of light made me very happy. I realized that we must place our whole confidence in God. This we did anew, and the reward did not fail to come. The sickness abated perceptibly, and in a short time every vestige of it had disappeared. We are no longer afraid of error, and are sincerely grateful to divine Love for the profound peace which has come to us in Christian Science. We are also deeply indebted to Mrs. Eddy for giving us this wonderful teaching, from which we can daily learn to grow stronger in Truth.—(Mrs.) Ida Köllmann, Rhoden, Kr. Halberstadt, Germany.

To the honor of God I wish to corroborate the foregoing testimony of my daughter, and at the same time express my gratitude that after four weeks, treatment I was healed of a serious sickness. How glad I am we know that God is our only Life; that neither so-called age nor accident can have any effect on the sense of Soul; and that there are no other real senses! I am seventy-one years of I wish to express my sincere gratitude for all the blessings I have received in Christian Science.
