Among the Churches

Morecambe Visitor, Heysham Chronicle, and Lancaster Advertiser.

Current Notes

Morecambe, Lancashire, England (First Church).—Quietly and unostentatiously has the work of Christian Science been flourishing in Morecambe, and in the same way was the opening of the new church in West End Road on Sunday accomplished. The church is of rectangular design, and has a seating capacity of approximately two hundred and fifty. The whole of the interior is tastefully furnished in dark oak, and in every respect the church is throughly up-to-date. A Reading Room is attached, and there is also a Sunday school room; and at the entrance porch is a fine library at which authorized Christian Science literature may be borrowed or bought.—Morecambe Visitor, Heysham Chronicle, and Lancaster Advertiser.
