The Lectures

Bexhill-on-Sea, England (First Church).

Lecturer: Miss Lucia C. Coulson; introduced by Miss Ianthe Brockelbank, who said:—

Christian Science has come to this age with a message of hope and healing. On page 13 of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we read: "Love is impartial and universal in its adaptation and bestowals. It is the open fount which cries, 'Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters.'" Many years ago Christian Science healed me instantaneously of a disease from which I had suffered since childhood. Every known remedy had been tried, and my doctor had pronounced the disease incurable. The textbook has indeed proved a "key" to the Scriptures, opening the Bible, revealing God, who for the last fifteen years has been my only Physician and met my every need. It has helped me, and it will help every receptive heart, to understand the gracious promise of our Master, Christ Jesus, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
