Signs of the Times

[Miss Matty E. Horn, as quoted in the Boston Traveler, Massachusetts]

Never were the ideals of youth in general purer and loftier than to-day. Righteous success, they believe and profess, in seeking the realization of dreams of youth, depends on individual courage, perseverance, and faith. Modern youth strives to be righteously independent, grounded in truth and faith. Each youth's dream is an ideal, and as such should be tested always with the standards of Jesus of Nazareth, who possessed . . . the perfect ideal. Dream a worthy dream and your life will be a benediction to your fellow-beings, an increasing joy to yourself; and your soul will find a place in the eternal plan of the ages.
