I can never feel grateful enough for all Christian Science has done for me. It is about four years since I became interested in it, and many discordant conditions have been healed. Through the loving help of practitioner and friends these conditions have been worked out most harmoniously. I have been healed of headaches, sore throats, colds. A severe pain in the side was met instantaneously through the truth that was declared by a friend. Homesickness has been overcome. At a Wednesday evening testimony meeting I was healed of what is called "compound astigmatism." Since then I have been able to lay aside glasses, which I had worn constantly for ten years.
What I am most grateful for is the spiritual uplift, which passes all understanding. I am thankful to God for bringing me to this country, where this truth was revealed to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. I am grateful for all her works; for the Christian Science literature, including The Christian Science Monitor; and for the Reading Rooms, where it is a privilege to read these works and periodicals; also, for the practitioner and friends who have so patiently helped me to see this great truth. My great desire is expressed in the words of the hymn:
