In an article entitled, "Reversed Christian Science," in a recent issue of your edition, Dr. Frank Crane said, "Whether or not you believe in Christian Science, at least reversed Christian Science is true." And then he proceeded to show that wrong thinking is responsible for many diseases of the body, including heart disease, stomach disorder, misshaped features, and organic troubles. Undoubtedly he is correct in stating that wrong thinking causes all this trouble; but he is mistaken in stating that it is reversed Christian Science, for Christian Science depends solely upon God, divine Mind, and upon the understanding of man as the idea of God, created by God in His image and likeness. Through the practice of this Science men are learning to claim their rightful heritage; and as Mrs. Eddy tells us in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 319), "Mystery, miracle, sin, and death will disappear when it becomes fairly understood that the divine Mind controls man and man has no Mind but God."
