Being deeply grateful, and hoping that this testimony...
Being deeply grateful, and hoping that this testimony may be helpful to others, I wish to tell of some of the healings that have come to me through the study of Christian Science. I have been healed of tuberculosis of the lungs. I had not been well or without some material remedy at hand for a number of years, and had gone through two operations, the physician telling me each time I was operated on that I would be relieved. But when I was told that I had tuberculosis, and that I must go to a different climate, I decided to try Christian Science; and I have proved that, as Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."
When I began reading Science and Health I had just broken my glasses and had not replaced them, and the thought came to me that I would not be able to read long without them. But I became so interested that I kept reading for hours; and I have never felt the need of glasses since.
I have also had a healing from spinal trouble, which had caused a great deal of pain. Not only am I grateful for the physical healings, but I am also deeply grateful for a better understanding of God; and I pray that I may not fail to express my gratitude by my daily life. I am also grateful for the practitioners and friends who have helped me in this wonderful truth, and for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church.
