My heart overflows with love and gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me and mine through the study and application of Christian Science as taught by Mrs. Eddy. Many years ago I attended a Wednesday evening testimony meeting and was very much impressed with the service, and particularly with the testimonies of healing. From that time Christian Science has been my only physician.

My first healing took place after a few absent treatments from a practitioner to whom I had written for help, which was lovingly given me. I was healed of rheumatism of many years' standing. I had not been able to put my foot to the floor, and had to be carried from the bed to a chair. At the same time I was healed of nervous prostration and heart failure, both of which I had suffered from for years. Many healings followed—of neuralgia, headache, backache, throat trouble, dizziness, ptomaine poisoning, all of which have passed into their native nothingness, sometimes with the help of a practitioner and at other times through my own understanding of Truth.

I wish to speak of the almost painless birth of my baby girl. I received Christian Science treatment previous to the time of the birth and experienced very little pain at the time of delivery and no inconvenience afterwards, which was a beautiful demonstration proving the protecting efficacy of Christian Science. This girl is now fifteen years old and has had nothing but Christian Science help in time of need.
