My daily prayer is to reflect more of the Christ in my life, to be more patient, more loving and meek. This is the least I can do for the healing in Christian Science which I had from sickness, after suffering from fever and sore throat for four days. The fourth day I was unable to swallow, and called a Christian Science practitioner. Within the next half hour I was relieved so completely, and so uplifted mentally, that it is my duty to tell of God's work so quickly done. On page 568 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we find, "For victory over a single sin, we give thanks and magnify the Lord of Hosts." The Psalmist said, "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High."
