Words cannot express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. It is sixteen years since I had my first healing. I was in bed with inflammatory rheumatism three weeks, under the care of two physicians, but getting no relief. While I was suffering intense pain, my sister, having heard something of Christian Science, asked me to try it. I consented; a practitioner was called, and in two days I was able to leave my bed. In three weeks' time I was completely healed.

About a year and a half ago I had a severe accident. In some way I caught my sleeve on the handle of a kettle of boiling water, upsetting it and burning both my legs from the ankles halfway to the knees. A practitioner was called, but before she came the burning sensation had left. Blisters seemed to form, but the surplus skin soon disappeared—a complete demonstration in three hours and a half. I attended the Christian Science church that evening. I have also been healed of nervous sick headaches from which I had suffered since childhood. I have had many other healings.

While grateful for all the physical healings, I am more grateful for the spiritual understanding of the Bible which I have gained through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. I am grateful to God for all the blessings received, and to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower. I am also grateful for church membership, for daily protection, for the loving work of practitioners, and to all who have helped me along the way.—
