I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me and to my family through the teachings of Christian Science. We have had many healings, mental, physical, and financial, during the three years we have been studying Christian Science.

I have in the past been a member of several so-called orthodox churches, but could never find that degree of satisfaction and peace that I thought should come with being a Christian, and finally I stopped going to church for about four years. Then we were led to the Christian Science church through the loving interest of a very dear friend, who was a member. We have depended solely upon Christian Science for everything since that time, and it has never failed us when rightly applied.

At the time I became interested in Christian Science I had been given a position as salesman for one of the large manufactories of printing machinery. As I had never had any experience of this nature, I was afraid that I could not make good. When I expressed this fear to my wife, she immediately suggested that I have a talk with a Christian Science practitioner; which I did that day before going out on my first trip. While talking to the practitioner I was completely healed of profanity. The practitioner also assured me that there was just one Mind, and that was God, divine Mind; that there was only one business, and that was God's business. So I went out on that first trip feeling that nothing could keep me from making good. The first day out I sold a machine; and during the year I was successful beyond all expectations.
