Words cannot express my gratitude for Christian Science
Words cannot express my gratitude for Christian Science. For eight years it has been our only physician. Constipation, bee stings, colds, influenza, tonsillitis, whooping cough are some of the things that have been healed. For the harmonious conditions manifested at the birth of our baby, now two and a half vears old, I am very grateful. Very little pain was experienced.
One healing that stands out above others is that of a burn. The baby, then about thirteen months old, fell from her high chair, striking both bare feet and one bare leg against the kitchen range. The feet were badly blistered and the leg had one burn below the knee and another the knee. It happened soon after eight in the morning. The pain was so great that a practitioner was called. Before ten the child was asleep, free from pain; at noon she awoke and was dressed; her shoes and stockings were put on; and she was down at play. In two weeks new flesh had replaced the old. The healing was perfect.
I am grateful for the peace of mind that the study of Christian Science has brought. For membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, for the Sunday school, for the Christian Science literature, for the loving practitioners, and for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I am truly grateful.—(Mrs.) Vera Peay, Provo, Utah.
