For eight years my family and I have been enjoying the blessings of Christian Science; and I feel I must express my gratitude for all the good received and for all the proofs of the loving care of our Father-Mother God.
In 1918, I lost my husband in the war and was left alone with my five children. It was a very trying time for me; but I was convinced that God always gives us what is necessary, and many cares were lifted. Words are inadequate to recount what these years have brought to me and mine: comfort, satisfaction, and joy. We are sincerely grateful for the healings. I have been healed of a nervous complaint. Two of my children have been healed of disease of the lungs. My second son suffered from epileptic attacks of the nerves from the age of four months. The doctors tried many remedies, but all in vain Since he has attended the Christian Science Sunday School, this disease has entirely disappeared. I am grateful for the loving help and the wise advice of my Christian Science friends, for all the writings of Mrs. Eddy, and for the Lesson-Sermons.
I am grateful to God with all my heart, and shall always bear Mrs. Eddy, who showed us the way to true joy and peace, in grateful remembrance.
