With sincere gratitude I wish to testify to the manifold blessings which have come to me through Christian Science. For several years I suffered from a tormenting cough which was nearly always attended by hoarseness. According to the doctor the lungs were affected. There was hardly a material remedy I did not try, but all in vain.
At this time a Christian Science practitioner told me about the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I had never heard of this wonderful Science; but before I had finished reading the book I knew that the only way whereby we can recognize the truth of being was shown us anew therein. I also asked at once for help, which was lovingly given. The healing progressed slowly, because I clung too steadfastly to the old false beliefs; but the dear practitioner reminded me with loving patience not to forget the healing power of Truth. Now I have become free of all complaints, including a painful muscular rheumatism from which I often suffered.
I cannot express in words my gratitude to God, who alone is God. I am grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for showing us the way to the God of love, and who unveiled the new-old wonder whereby we can overcome error of every kind with the understanding of Truth. I am also sincerely grateful to the practitioner.
