Shortly after I began the study of Christian Science a rash broke out in the family. Later, it was discovered to be smallpox. I was told by the physician who examined me that I would be pitted for life. I was the only one in the family who was under Christian Science treatment. My face was washed with soap and water. I am not pitted; nor did I lose my nails or suffer from the itching, as the others did.

I am grateful for this healing, and also for many others, such as the healing of boils, ulcerated teeth, and snake bite. The study of Christian Science has helped me to become more patient, less sensitive, and to know God as a God of love.—(Miss) Minnie Carter, Springdale, Arkansas.
