Every minute of the day I feel gladder for Christian Science, and for having divine Love as an ever present help, to turn to with every problem. It is beautiful to work out one's own salvation; and the more one works in Science the keener becomes the desire to learn more of perfect God and perfect man, so as to apply this understanding at all times. We sometimes wonder what would be the best way to work out some difficulty, instead of going straight to divine Love and starting from a spiritual basis, and knowing that man reflects infinite Love and intelligence.

Once I swallowed a fairly large fish bone, which stuck in my throat. I was filled with fear, and wondered how I could leave the table to go and read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. In a second I realized that was not necessary for relief, as divine Love is ever present. Then I found myself declaring the truth to myself. Fear left, and I was conscious of a sense of peace. After dinner was over, I got my copy of Science and Health, and let divine Love find the place for me. I opened the book at page 388 and read the page from the top, until I came to the following: "The fact is, food does not affect the absolute Life of man, and this becomes selfevident, when we learn that God is our Life." The irritation in the throat left me, and I was filled with joy at the knowledge of Love's omnipresence.

I am so grateful to God for all the good that has been revealed to me, especially for the help I received recently in overcoming a sense of loss. It was simply wonderful to me when this healing took place.
