After undergoing three operations and being told that another was necessary, I embraced Christian Science. My healing was not instantaneous. Daily living the life of a Christian Scientist and much study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, were required before I was able to receive the healing truth. Christian Science has healed me of a very irritable disposition, of nervousness and blood poisoning, and has really made me anew. I am very grateful for these healings,—grateful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving this truth to the world to uplift mankind.
