Since I took up the study of this beautiful religion, many difficulties have been overcome. When I first heard of Christian Science, I had what seemed an insurmountable fear of losing my children, having lost my first two; but with the patient, loving help of a practitioner this fear has been entirely destroyed. Now I can leave them quite happily in God's care, knowing that as He is their Father-Mother, there can be nothing to fear. The result is that they are strong and healthy; and all feeling of separation has been overcome when they have been away at boarding school. Until I heard of Christian Science I had never been strong, often spending weeks in bed. Now I am able to do everything I need to do. During the war, for four and a half years, I belonged to the women's police service, doing very strenuous work, but was not on sick leave for one day during that time.
Many difficulties in my home life have been overcome, and my children and I have had many physical healings, several of them instantaneous, through the help always given quickly and lovingly by practitioners. I am most grateful for the wonderful sense of peace and happiness which comes from the knowledge of what God really is, that Christian Science gives us. I am also grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has made it possible for us to understand the great truths about God and about man in His image and likeness, and has shown us how to help others.—(Mrs.) Margaret A. Hampton, Weaysberry, Buckinghamshire, England.
