Those who have gained a demonstrable understanding of Christian Science know that this Science is identical with the Christianity taught and practiced by Christ Jesus. Christian Science repeats in this age the Master's declaration, "The kingdom of heaven is at hand." Christian Science has freed thousands from the fetters of fear, disease, and sin. Through its teachings, multitudes have learned to appreciate better the life and teachings of Christ Jesus. And because of this, they have gained a better understanding of God and salvation. Christian Science must be judged by its fruits.

Christian Science is not a superstition; it is the practical teaching of Christ Jesus, whereby we are enabled to overcome evil with good, and to realize the fulfillment of the statement in the Lord's Prayer: "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Neither is it "idol worship," for God alone is worshiped in Christian Science.
