Changes in the Prices of Some of Mrs. Eddy's Works
In common with the rise in costs of manufacture in other industries, the cost of materials and labor in the manufacture of books, as well as of their packing and shipping, has increased so greatly since 1916 that some of Mrs. Eddy's Works for a long time have been selling at a loss. No increase in prices has been made, it being expected that the gradual lowering of manufacturing and shipping costs, generally hoped for, would obviate the necessity of advancing the prices of certain books.
Now, however, as there is no immediate prospect of any decrease in the costs of manufacture or of shipping, the following increased prices have been adopted:
Single Copy Twelve or More
Science and Health, Levant .... $8.50 $8.25
Science and Health, Large Type .... 11.50 11.25
Science and Health, German, Pocket .... 7.50 7.25
Science and Health, French, Pocket .... 7.50 7.25
Single Copy Six or More
Concordance to Science and Health .... $6.00 $5.50
Concordance to Other Writings .... 7.50 7.00
The above prices are effective on and after May 31, 1924.

It would insure uninterrupted delivery of the periodicals, as well as facilitate the work of the Publishing Society, if our subscribers would send their changes of address as early as possible, stating the name of each periodical, and the issue for which the change is desired. Subscribers are also requested to send in the name exactly as it appears on the wrappers of the periodicals.
Orders for Bibles, Subscriptions, et cetera
All orders for literature, subscriptions, and miscellaneous articles should be accompanied by the remittance. Address such orders and make checks payable to The Christian Science Publishing Society, Back Bay Station, Boston, Massachusetts.
Articles and Testimonies
Articles from members of The Mother Church and good testimonies from those healed by Christian Science are always welcomed for consideration by the Editors. They should be typewritten (double spaced) or written legibly, on one side of the paper only; and the addresses given should be complete; also the source of all quotations should be given. Women should use the title "Miss" or Mrs.," and married women should sign their own names in full, instead of the names of their husbands.
Testimonies should be verified by three members of The Mother Church, and in the case of a member or an attendant of a branch church one of the verifiers should be the clerk or some other officer of that church, who has either witnessed the healing or can vouch for the integrity of the testifier. In the verification of testimonies by a church officer, the title of the office should be given. An affidavit made before a Notary Public is acceptable, if the testifier does not know three members of The Mother Church.
Manuscript for publication in the Journal and Sentinel, whether articles, poems, or testimonies, and correspondence relating thereto, should not be addressed to individuals, but to the Editorial Department, The Christian Science Publishing Society, Back Bay Station, Boston, Massachusetts.
Compliance with the foregoing will greatly facilitate the work of the Editorial Department.
