I learned many lessons from my first healing in Christian Science

I learned many lessons from my first healing in Christian Science. The most important was that a physical healing means healing of sin as well. Some seventeen years ago I was healed through Christian Science of an astigmatic condition of the eyes, which the glasses I had worn for twenty-five years only partially remedied. In this healing I found myself freed from many dominating sins, such as hate, covetousness, quick temper, and a sarcastic tongue. My whole point of view had been so sadly awry that it was no wonder my eyes were out of focus.

Christian Science has transformed my life from selfish ease in materiality into some measure of ability to prove my love for God and man. My debt of gratitude to Christian Science is already large, and goes on increasing; for day by day I turn to it, and always find it an ever present help.
