In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 365) our revered Leader writes, "If the Scientist reaches his patient through divine Love, the healing work will be accomplished at one visit, and the disease will vanish into its native nothingness like dew before the morning sunshine."

I can gratefully say this was my experience when I asked for help in Christian Science. I came to Science for physical healing, not knowing at that time the spiritual blessings it had in store for me. I was healed instantaneously of a curvature of the spine, a dislocated hip, an abdominal rupture, and internal adhesions. Four weeks after this healing, with the help of two more treatments, I was able to lay away glasses, which had been worn for seventeen years. The glasses had to be changed every two years for stronger ones. How grateful I was to learn from Science and Health (p. 424) that "there is no room for imperfection in perfection"!

Since this healing, eleven years ago, divine Love has been our only physician, and all our needs have been beautifully and harmoniously met. Previous to my healing I had been a medical nurse for ten years; consequently, a great deal of unspiritual teaching had to be routed out of my consciousness. I am grateful to say this work is going on daily. I am grateful that our children know only this truth to guide them. How quickly they turn to divine Love for every need! It is indeed a lesson to those of us of larger growth to see the absolute faith they repose in their Father-Mother, God. Can we be grateful enough to our Leader for establishing the Christian Science Sunday School, where our little ones may receive this pure Christ-teaching, wherewith they learn to "put on the whole armour of God"?
