I wish to give my testimony with deep gratitude for the blessings which I have received through Christian Science. For several years I had been suffering from an abdominal trouble, which became more and more noticeable. I consulted a physician, who advised me to have an operation performed; but this I could not decide to undergo. Several months passed. The trouble did not improve, although I tried various remedies. One day, about three years ago, I heard of Christian Science for the first time. An acquaintance told me of it, and very kindly lent me some Herolds. I read these wonderful periodicals diligently, and frequently attended the Wednesday evening testimony meetings, which comforted me greatly. When I thought I had gained some understanding of this beautiful teaching, I asked a practitioner for aid, which was immediately given. After four weeks of Christian Science treatment the trouble had entirely disappeared.

Since the nearly two years have elapsed, and I am happier and more contented than ever before. I can sincerely say that through Christian Science, which teaches us that God, good, is ever present and the only power, I was healed. For this wonderful truth I owe unending gratitude to God, as well as to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has led us on the right way to the light.—(Mrs.) Selma Lipinski, Schweidnitz, Silesia, Germany.
