People wonder sometimes how others become interested in Christian Science. I wish to tell why I turned to it for help. I left my home to go to a doctor, and did go; but something seemed to lead me out of his office. It was nothing else but the hand of God that led me into the Christian Science church to be healed; for thirteen years ago Christian Science found me a wreck. I was healed of what the doctors pronounced cancer, which caused great trouble to me and to my family. I had never thought God was a God of love, because I thought He was responsible for all our diseases. I have had many wonderful healings since then, and have learned through Christian Science that God never made anything but good. One by one false beliefs have disappeared. What I am most grateful for is the uplifting thought that draws us closer to God every day, and for the truth which makes us free.
