Among the Churches

Current Notes

Waco, Texas (First Church).—Plans for the construction of a handsome modern house of worship for First Church of Christ, Scientist, have been completed, to be erected at the northwest corner of Columbus and Eleventh Streets. The new edifice will be sixty by eighty-six feet, and up-to-date in every way. This denomination purchased the lots several years ago; and the property is ideal for the purposes intended.—Waco Times-Herald.

Lewistown, Mont. (First Church).—The White residence has been purchased by First Church of Christ, Scientist, and is being remodeled for use as a church. The location is a desirable one; and the structure will lend itself readily to the purposes for which it will be hereafter used. Regular services will be held in this church edifice; and the Christian Science Reading Room will be removed to this new church property at the corner of Seventh Avenue and Watson Street.—Lewistown Democrat-News.
