It is with a deep feeling of gratitude that I tell of my healing in Christian Science of eczema of the hands and arms, which took place over three years ago. This healing was accomplished under seemingly difficult conditions. At the time of this demonstration I was working in a public place. A doctor said each day my hands and arms were steadily growing worse. I knew, however, that materia medica could do nothing for me, as I had tried many material remedies to no avail before I took up Christian Science. Knowing that God is all-power, I clung to the truth and asked for help from a practitioner. In three weeks' time my hands and arms were perfectly healed—not a scar or blemish left on them.
At another time influenza was healed in two days. While crossing the street one night a friend and I were knocked down by an automobile. I was carried into a near-by drug store. All that I could remember was to ask that a Christian Science practitioner be called, which was done. Some one called a doctor and made arrangements to have me taken to the hospital. I was in such pain I was almost unconscious. At the hospital, after examination, the doctor said I should not be able to walk for two weeks, as the muscles in my back and hip were strained and the skin badly torn; also, that to stop the pain I must have a hypodermic. I refused, and he went away in just a little while. I fell asleep and slept all night. Next morning I asked for my clothes. I left the hospital that morning, and went to my work that same afternoon without the least pain.
For these healings I am extremely grateful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, who brought to us this beautiful truth.
