In the forty-sixth psalm we read that God is "a very present help in trouble." I am glad to be able, through the teachings of Christian Science, to testify that these words do not refer merely to mental comfort in sorrow, but apply to the actual solving of all the difficulties that beset us. I have long been convinced that Christian Science, understood and faithfully practiced, can overcome any disorder or difficulty; that it is indeed the truth which makes free,—the actual law of God which was partially understood by patriarch and prophet, practiced in its full perfection by Christ Jesus, and revealed in this age to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.

I have been healed of many ills, among them a supposedly delicate throat, which had always troubled me until I gained through Christian Science a better understanding of man as God's child. In my past experience, every physical disorder began with throat trouble, but I am glad to say I have practically forgotten what it feels like to have a sore throat. The work of a Christian Science practitioner healed me of ringworm. From the hour she got my letter, the spots lost all irritation and disappeared.

I am deeply grateful for these and other healings, but still more grateful for the certain knowledge, which Christian Science gives us, that God, good, is ever present and all-powerful.—(Miss) Rubie Forsyth, Howick, Natal, South Africa.
