In 1919 I was plastering a residence when I fell off the scaffolding and broke three ribs in my left side and injured my left kidney. The bladder filled with clotted blood, and I was in extreme agony. The Christian Science practitioner who was called came and stayed all night. About half past ten the pain subsided; and shortly afterwards I fell asleep and slept peacefully until about daybreak. I then arose, dressed, and went out into the yard, to the surprise of my family and those who knew about my injuries. In about a week I went up to the mountains for a week. I was soon able to resume my usual vocation. I never feel any bad effect from those injuries now.

I am very grateful to the practitioner for her clear understanding and faithful care, which brought the complete demonstration; and I am truly thankful to God, and to out Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her teaching and explanation of the Scriptures.
