I wish to relate the wonderful healing which came to...

I wish to relate the wonderful healing which came to me through Christian Science, with deep gratitude for the great love and goodness of God. I was a very sick wife and mother for sixteen years. Severe abdominal and lung troubles, which were accompanied by many other ailments, such as severe, sudden headaches, stomach and nerve troubles, were my constant attendants. I was often unable to think clearly for weeks at a time. I went from one physician to another; and when these could do no more for me, to went to specialist But none were able to give me the health for which I so constantly yearned.

Shortly before the advent of Christian Scince into my life, I was again very miserable for weeks, and life was a burden to me. My husband urged me to go to a woman specialist for women's troubles. I did so, and the verdict was an immediate operation. When I returned home I was naturally in a more dejected mood than before. My husband decided upon an operation; but I opposed it with all my might. Then man's extremity proved to be God's opportunity; for an acquaintance called while I was in this condition and spoke to me of Christian Science. She gave me two Herolds, which I laid aside, for at that time I still believed that all troubles came from God. After about four weeks the lady returned and saw I was suffering still more severely. When she asked me whether I had read the Herolds, I had to answer in the negative. She then urged me to read them, and the same day I read a short paragraph of an article and one testimony. While I was reading, it became clear to me that I must turn to Christian Science. Filled with hope and confidence, I looked up a practitioner the next day, who lovingly complied with my request to treat me. In a short time I was completely healed; and the healing has been permanent, for it took place over a year and a half ago, and since then I have always been well.

I cannot express in words my gratitude for this healing, and for the many other blessings which I receive almost daily. Words are inadequate to express my thanks for the goodness, love, and omnipotence of our heavenly Father. It will be my endeavor to grow constantly in the knowledge of our Master.
