I am very grateful to God for having placed Christian Science in my path; and I am happy to relate here some demonstrations which have helped me to advance in this Science, which was presented to me some time ago. Through the study of Christian Science I was first healed of the habit of commiserating myself every day over some new discomfort. At another time, difficulties which had lasted for a long while were instantaneously removed. And again, as soon as I understood that I was the victim of a mistake, internal pains disappeared in a few days, never to reappear.

At one time, yielding to a thought of inharmony, I wanted to leave my office, thinking that all those with whom I was working were against me, for reasons which, in my opinion, were unjust. I went to a practitioner, who made me understand that it was not through leaving my work that I should realize divine harmony. The treatment which she gave me opened my eyes, and I saw the truth. The next day peace reigned, and my colleagues were delightful to me. Since then I go to work with great pleasure and much joy.

My greatest demonstration came to me last May. I was holding a wrong thought of loss of blood, which had reduced me to such a condition of weakness that those around me were very anxious. I tried to do my work by myself, and I thought of the woman in the gospel who wanted to touch Jesus' robe in order to be healed. Not being able, however, to realize the idea of perfect Love, I decided to have help from a practitioner. Absent treatment was given me, and in a short time I had the joy of being freed from the difficulty which had been troubling me. I ought to add that during this time I did not change my daily habits at all, but continued my work, to the great astonishment of my relatives.
