Through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures"...

Through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and other writings of Mary Baker Eddy there has been brought into my life much that is beautiful and helpful, and it is hard to understand how I ever got along without our textbook. All doubt has been swept away, and I can echo Job's thought when he said, "I know that my redeemer liveth." The Bible has taken on a new meaning, and I have become a new man. I had not been reading Science and HEalth very long when I discovered that ailments such as biliousness, constipation, indigestion, which had been with me nearly all my life, were disappearing; and soon they had entirely gone.

I had a beautiful experience some time ago. One morning about ten o'clock I was suddenly attacked with what is commonly called the grippe. I readily recognized the symptoms, having had the same kind of experience many years before, this time with far different results. In about five minutes I seemed to be in full possession of the malady. However, I at once began to declare the truth that as a child of God I was free-born and that I was subject only to good. I worked mentally along this line, and it was but a few minutes when the symptoms began to disappear about as fast as they had come.

I had been suffering with a sore throat about two days when I decided to call a practitioner for help, which was lovingly given. The bands that seemed to bind me were instantly and gently unclasped, and I was entirely free. I am truly grateful to God that I am daily given that spiritual understanding whereby I am in a measure able to differentiate between the true and the false and so to have a sure foundation whereby to work out my salvation, regardless of any human opinion. I regard the revelation of Christian Science as a priceless gift to all those who are willing to receive it. As time goes on, the full value of Mrs. Eddy's service to all mankind will be universally appreciated and understood.—Robert M. Cunningham, Cincinnati, Ohio.
